The perfect little bottle shop on the backstreets of Truckee! Excellent selection of variety, region and price point. The Poor Man and Explorer wine clubs are innovative, clever, funny and very, very tasty. As Dean and Christa like to say, 'Worship the Grape'. They do, and we're all better off for it.
Everytime I go to Truckee I stop by for a visit. Always friendly, very cozy and just fun place to taste wine. They have a great selection of wine to purchase, great wine knowledge. Support your local merchant and check it out!
The best wine shop from the Bay area to Reno. Friendly, knowledgeable, great tastings and social atmosphere and very good wines. Most you won't find anywhere else. A great following in the Sierra, Lake tahoe and truckee. A must see when in the mountains.

Dean and Christa always have unique and adventerous selections. They are very much a part of our community and by far the most reasonably-priced wines - anywhere. They are personally always there to greet you with the best advice.
Best selection, best atmosphere, best bar to chill in, awesome deck, best snacks (amazing cheese, fresh bread, nuts, olives....can't go wrong), best customers to chill with and by far the best owners! They are very knowledgeable and kind people!

Whenever we are in Truckee we always go to The Pour House. Dean and Christa are the best. You can describe what wines you love and they always have an excellent recommendation. We go so often now that they know exactly what direction to point me to. We LOVE the wine club as well! It is an fantastic opportunity to try wines from places we may not have known about. The Pour House is the only wine shop to visit when in Truckee!!!
